It is rare to succeed in performing arts, it’s such a trendy dream for younger people to aim for but has a fairly small amount of jobs to provide. Usually you would have to be situated in a large city, where theatres and studios are nearby. If you still think you have what it takes however, then don’t give up. You will be given a lot of rejections and ultimately to truly succeed you may need to move away from home, but if it all goes to plan, what you’ll have won’t feel like any normal career, because you would be doing what you like most and will be having fun along the way too.
