This career involves making sure that everyone else is adequately trained and qualified to do their own jobs – so you need a sound level of knowledge yourself. As such, again a degree is needed for admission to this career. This career applies to both ships and land – a training management officer at sea will be providing hands on training for individuals on board a ship.
